🐻🎉 "Any Person, Any Study" is so great!! I meet Cornellians from a huge variety of industries and demographics. This broadens my perspectives, I can see how trends in other industries may affect my industry soon. I can learn about trends in other demographics, rather than just staying in a bubble of friends who are similar to me. Meeting Cornellians at the NYC Food Court Event on Tue 8/27 is the best way to meet Cornellians from a huge variety of industries and demographics! Cornellians come from all generations (’63 through ’27), and from all industries (actors, politicians, poets, big tech, biotech, private equity, hedge fund, big law). We get such diversity, yet we are all connected by being Cornellians!! In the day-to-day grind, people hyper focus in a specific industry, in a specific company, in a specific role. The world outside is constantly evolving, filled with a huge variety of perspectives! For example, if you work in a large company, surrounded by other people working at a large company, you start to think working at a large company is the only path. But when you come to the Food Court Event, and meet Cornellians working on pre-seed startups, Cornellians who sold startups, Cornellian venture capitalists, you start to think about founding your own startup too!! more Cornellian startups!!! The Food Court Event is on Tue 8/27, 6pm-10pm, at The Hugh’s food court (601 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10022)! it’s a wonderful welcoming group of 50-100 Cornellians! if you don’t know anyone who is coming, you should still come, because all the Cornellians come hoping to meet new Cornellians like you!
