Click for video: 🐻🧮 Big Red Math Competition!! hundreds of high school students come to Cornell, from around the world, to compete in the Big Red math competition, take lectures from Cornell math professors, meet Cornell student volunteers, and learn about the wonderful Arts and Science college!! Math is the foundation to so many subjects like physics, chemistry, engineering, linguistics, AI, software, and even the humanities, as everything becomes more data and math driven!! it is super important that the top diverse high school talent see the wonderful collaborative nature at Cornell (all kinds of majors represented in the student volunteers!!), and the wonderful quality of math education at Cornell! my favorite is how there’s a chess competition during a break to the math competition!! the fun and learning is nonstop at Cornell!!
