🐻🍪 I had a great time at the Cornell Food Hackathon!! 200 students from all majors, come together over the weekend, to create new food products!! thank you to the industry sponsors, I learned about Koji fermentation, honey, dairy milk innovations, Belgian chocolates, and more! at the Hackathon, I met an engineer, a nutrition major, a psychologist, a business major, an ILRie, a hotelie, a sociologist, an astronomy major! they all come together, at the Food Hackathon, because food applies to everyone (everyone eats food!!!)
Hackathons are the best way to become an entrepreneur!! everyone is welcomed, come up with an idea from scratch, get helpful feedback from industry experts who come back to judge, and the professor said many of the ideas go on to become real startups!!!
several of the students have never done a hackathon before, and they didn’t know anyone else doing it (everyone is guaranteed a good team of Cornellians), and they were all having such a good time!! you should do more hackathons!!!
