Cheng, MHA ’21, is Chief Executive Officer of the top ambulatory surgery center in NYC (where doctors operate on patients outside the traditional hospital setting, for lower costs and better outcomes), and Morgan Beidel, MHA ’21, is Chief Strategy Officer at a startup that schedules medical tests for patients (ie blood tests, cardiograms, etc.), so the patient would be prepared for their doctor visit! Austin and Morgan became best friends through the Executive Masters of Healthcare Administration degree, they carpooled together to Ithaca on the weekends, to take classes on healthcare administration!! The Sloan MHA degree is a wonderful community, alumni come to Ithaca every month to speak on healthcare trends, I attended a talk on OneMedical, I learned so much about Value Based Care and Digital Health!!!
