Tech is transforming Design, and Cornell is uniquely positioned to be the leader!! Cornell has the #1 engineering school and the #1 architecture design school, so Cornell is the #1 in Design Technology!! Cornell Tech is all about Applications of design tech, to solve real world problems!! - automated language translation in virtual reality, to connect people across language barriers and distance barriers!! - designing the coolest data centers, where the heat is repurposed in innovative ways, i.e. greenhouses for everyone to visit above!! - helping the NYC Government, redesign the IBX train line, to increase freight throughput into NYC, as well as more nature, like the High Line park!! Cornell Architecture is rapidly growing in Cornell Tech!! with so many exciting programs for undergrad, masters, and PhDs, with the new focus on Design Tech!!! Cornell Tech’s AAP Gensler Family Center is incredible!! Arthur Gensler ’58 transformed Architecture and Design, and the Cornell Tech Center leads the transformation for this century
