🐻🎨 Cornellian artwork at Christie’s!! "Central Park Nightfall" by Dan Ambrosi ’82, is in Christie’s Augmented Intelligence auction (closes Mar 5, 10am ET!!) Christie’s is the top art auction house, where Picassos and Van Goghs are regularly sold! it’s fabulous to see a Cornellian’s artwork reach the pinnacle of the art world!!
Dan Ambrosi ’82 studied architecture and computer graphics at Cornell, and his work is shown at the Computer History Museum in Palo Alto, as well as Google office buildings, and is collected by art collectors all around the world!! to see it in-person, visit Christie’s auction house at 20 Rockefeller Plaza!!
I really like "Central Park Nightfall" (5/5), a modern take on landscape art, the sharp details of tree branches and lake reflections, on top of AI’s dreamy depictions of birds and fish, a beautiful balance of photographic reality and AI hallucination! I think it’d look great at the end of a long hallway or in a nice living room!!
