🐻✡️ Cornell Center for Jewish Living is the most wonderful community!!! I attended the annual winter get-together, of CJL students and alumni!! everyone shared beautiful stories - from fun memories, like celebrating together after prelims, playing Madden together in the basement - to heartfelt memories, how one student’s father passed away during the semester, and the students at CJL reliably came to to make minyan for kaddish the alumni panel also shared career advice!! - networking advice, learned about equity research internship from an alum - courses to take, taking advanced math classes as a Dyson major, uniquely prepared for quant work the CJL community is so wonderful and welcoming!! I eat Shabbat dinner at CJL when I was a student, and whenever I visit Ithaca!! I made so many friends at CJL, and I learned a bunch, from the Kosher rules to Rashi studies!!
