🐻🎥 Dorothy Cotton was the highest-ranking woman in Martin Luther King’s Civil Rights movement (Southern Christian Leadership Conference). After the Civil Rights movement, she became Director of Student Activities at Cornell. A documentary about her is shown at the Harlem Film Festival tonight 5/27 at 6:30pm. The documentary is called "Move When the Spirit Says Move". It was made by Deborah Hoard, MPS ’78, she makes a lot of videos for Cornell, ie the academic integrity video shown to students when they start at Cornell.
