🐻🚀 Ed Muskie, LLB 1939, ran for President in 1972!! I visited his Memorial in Rumford, ME!! he accomplished so much, passed the Clean Air Act and the Clean Water Act when he was Senator Rumford is a small town in Northwest Maine, the primary industry is paper manufacturing, Ed Muskie grew up in Rumford, incredible rise from small town to national impact Cornellians are the best politicians!! I really hope a Cornellian becomes President by 2050!! a beautiful river runs through the Rumford, a powerful reminder of the importance of public service, to protect the environment for future generations!!
