🐻⏳ every hour I spend meeting Cornellians, is amplified by all the past hours I spent meeting Cornellians!! for example, a Cornellian I met for an hour in NJ last week, introduced me to a Cornellian in NY who I met for an hour today, and I introduced her to a Cornellian I met for an hour in the Midwest 3 years ago, to a Cornellian I met for an hour at Ithaca Reunion 1 year ago, and to a Cornellian I met for an hour in NYC 1 month ago!!
time is the limiting factor, we only have so few hours, so it’s important the hours in our past amplifies the hour right now, and the hour right now amplifies the hours in the future!!
an hour spent meeting a Cornellian is the best way to amplify:
- because Cornellians have a shared memory and identity, and that holds the Cornellian bond together over the decades
- because Cornellians all go to Cornell events, over the decades, so it’s easy to keep in touch with each other, without having to schedule individual 1-1 meetings
- because Cornellians all have many mutual friends, so it’s easy to hear what each other is going through, without actively meeting
if you have a spare hour, please come to the NYC Food Court Event on Tue 10/29, 6pm-10pm at The Hugh’s food court (601 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10022)! an hour at the Food Court will amplify all the thousands of future hours you spend meeting Cornellians!! with more shared stories, with more mutual friendships, with more opportunities to connect Cornellians with each other!!
