🐻🤖 for the past month, I’ve had AI summarize the news for me everyday at 7am and 8pm!! I really like: - Structure: every news headline is structured into (2 sentences of context, 2 sentences about the news, and 2 sentences about the implication), it’s how I think about the news, and AI gives it to me directly - Simplicity: there’s no distractions, no clickbait headlines, no advertisements, it just comes in as text, with bold text for headlines, and section heading for organization - Personalization: AI knows that I’m a Cornellian and how I like innovation and startups, and it tells me about startups founded by Cornellians, and the amazing research happening at Cornell!! - Proactiveness: it runs itself everyday at 7am and 8pm, it doesn’t need me to tell it to do it, it just does it for me Future Improvements: around 10% of the news is hallucinated, I’m adding more structure to it, to have it read the news from news rss feeds, and only referencing those news articles Realizations: - I now give AI a big blob of a problem to solve, and based on how it solves the problem, I slowly add more definition to the problem, until it solves it the way I want it!! - before AI, I would approach problems big-small, then work on it small-big, then work on it big-small, and alternate - but now with AI, I just approach it big-small, and AI does all the small-big so much faster, so I just do big-small all the way to a solution here’s my favorite daily prompt: - Daily Classical Music Prompt: Every evening at 8pm, recommend a classical music piece, provide tips on what to listen for, and describe why the piece is significant. - I’ve listened to so much more Classical Music as a result!!
