🐻🕯️ I am saddened by the passing of Phil Shapiro, MA ’69. He was host of Bound for Glory, the leading Folk Music Radio Show for 4 decades, on WVBR, the radio station run by Cornellians. I met him several times in Ithaca, and on zoom, when he came to the Cornell Global Mixers to share his story. I learned a lot about folk music, how it has a deep history, and how it was music by the people, for the people.
