🐻 I am very saddened by the passing of Ratan Tata ’59. He was a big supporter of Cornell, in so many ways, from Cornell Tech to Architecture. I most admire the Tata Scholarship, that financially supports 20 students from India each year to study at Cornell. This is very important for Any Person, Any Study, because international students do not have access to the scholarships and in-state tuitions of American students. I’ve met several of the Tata scholars over the past few years, and it is inspirational to see how the Tata Scholarship created a pathway, for the top students in India, to come across the world, to study at Cornell. Tonight, I’m rewatching "Ratan Tata ’59: The Cornell Story", a documentary made about his experience at Cornell.
