🐻🚀 I attended Cornell Tech’s Frontiers of AI Summit!! AI is transforming so many industries, and there’s so much excitement at the Summit!! I learned how AI analyzes financial data, discovers new materials for carbon sequestration, measures kidney volume in MRIs, proves new mathematics theory, models protein-protein interactions, and so much more! it’s incredible to see the power of AI in all its many forms!! it’s refreshing to hear how these early adopters embrace AI, and push forward AI usage in their respective industries!! there’s common issues across the industries, concerns about the reliability: AI can’t count the chairs in a video, AI can be tricked to give up private information, finding good quality data, whether AI will actually improve on the KPIs but there’s so much excitement too: model complex protein-protein interactions to cure more diseases, how to train the smartest models when they’re already smarter than humans, automate a lot of tasks I met so many Cornellians in the audience!! they work in the top tech companies, build the top startups in NYC!! Cornell Tech is incredible at leading the AI ecosystem in NYC!!
