🐻🚀 I visited the newly renovated Waldorf Astoria on Park Ave!! Cornellians run the place!! from restaurant manager to guest services to finance and operations!!! the hotel reopened last July, after a $2b 8 year renovation!! 2 Cornell Hotelies graduated in May, and they run the Peacock Alley Bar, it’s the Best Bar in NYC!!! I drank a Brooklyn Brewery IPA (5/5)!! Brooklyn Brewery was founded by Steve Hindy ’71!! I ate the cheese cracker (5/5), which had tangy cheesy taste, and the Pigs in the Blankets (5/5), juicy sausages rolled in fluffy pastries!! the architecture is phenomenal, the crown molding and the rugs and the paintings, with a Clock from the 1893 World Fair!! it reminds me how the best things in the world, like the Waldorf Astoria and Cornell, endure through the centuries!!!
