🐻🎉 If you’re starting a 1-year graduate program, please start networking with Cornellians now!! it takes multiple meetings with a Cornellian, to activate the network effects!! For example: - you meet a Cornellian once in August, to start building a relationship - you meet them again in December, update them on your progress - and maybe in March, the Cornellian comes across a job opening, remembers you, and reaches out to you! you need to meet many Cornellians, and over multiple months, for the Cornell network effects to take effect!! Meeting Cornellians at the Food Court Event is the best way to network!! - Cornellians come to the Food Court hoping to meet more Cornellians (there’s no other reason to come!) - Cornellians come to the Food Court over and over again, so you’ll know you’ll run into them again, without having to schedule a separate 1-1 meeting! - Please come on Tue 8/27, 6pm-10pm, at The Hugh’s food court (601 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10022) In the August 2024 to May 2025 school year, there will be 10 NYC Food Court Events (every month) where you can meet hundreds of Cornellians, there will be 25 Zoom Mixers (every 2 weeks) where you can meet hundreds of Cornellians, and there will be hundreds more Cornell events where you can meet hundreds of Cornellians!!
