🐻🚀 in Shanghai, I learned it’s important to be "Ling Huo" (灵活), to be adaptable to new change, in a lively agile way! it’s slightly different from American startup lingo (i.e. "move fast and break things"), in a few ways:
- there’s a happy feeling around it, almost like it’s dancing around obstacles, changing business models isn’t failing, it’s a graceful adaptation
- there’s a flexibility to it, where you want to keep your position open, so that you can move quickly, nothing bolted down, everything free-flowing
- there’s a problem-solving mindset to it, an optimism that there’s always a way through, when you see a new problem, you just have to figure it out
Cornell is so wonderful, because Cornellians extend across cultures (any person, any study!!), it’s wonderful to meet Cornellians!!!
