🐻🚀 it’s Election Day in DC!! Brooke Pinto ’14 is running for Congress in DC, she’s been an incredible DC City Councilmember, very practical, and gets things done: - Public Safety: she passed the Secure DC and Peace DC bills, which created 100 safety interventions to prevent crime, dropping violent crime like car jackings and gun violence - Housing: she led the Recovery Act, which converted 3 empty office buildings into 754 housing unit - Small Business: she introduced the BEST Act, to streamline the business license process for new businesses, and help entrepreneurs in underserved communities start businesses she’s doing such a great job on the campaign (picture from one of her debates!!) if you live in DC, vote anytime before 8pm today, I’ve included a list of polling locations, you can vote in any of the locations!! (I’ll be at the Takoma location until 8pm, talking to voters!!)
