Molly Morse ’03 studied engineering at Cornell, started Mango Materials after her PhD at Stanford, Mango Materials is based near San Francisco, headquartered at a wastewater treatment plant, where they turn the methane into biodegradable plastic in large fermentation tanks! I visited the plant last week, and I thought it was so cool how scalable everything was, how they can just install 10x more fermentation tanks, to boost 10x more the production!!
