Mobile uploads 🐻🐻 I learned to be an active Cornellian from role models like Laurie Berke-Weiss ’71!! everytime I visit Ithaca, I sit on her bench at the ILR building, and for the first time this weekend, we sat on the bench together!!! Laurie is an active Cornellian, for many decades: president of the Class of 1971, president of the ILR Alumni Association, member of Cornell Council, and member of President’s Council of Cornell Women! in addition to her leadership positions, I most admire how she mentors Cornellians, ie on legal careers (she’s the best employment lawyer in NYC!!), how to apply for law school, how to start a new law practice! the Cornell community is so wonderful, because of the wonderful work by so many generations of Cornellians, there’s so much to learn from every generation, I’m really grateful to be a Cornellian!! Come meet Cornellians across the generations at the Food Court Event on Tue 10/29, 6pm-10pm at The Hugh’s food court (601 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10022)!! you’ll meet so many wonderful Cornellians, learn from each other, become friends with each other!!
