Mobile uploads 🐻🎉 I turned 34 years old yesterday!! I had a birthday party, at my favorite stone bench at Cornell!! Built in 1892, the bench sits on top of the Slope, overlooks Cayuga Lake, it says: "To those who shall sit here rejoicing, To those who shall sit here mourning, Sympathy and greeting, So have we done in our time" As I reflect on the past year, time is so fleeting, but Cornellian friendships are so permanent. for example, conversations come and go, the ice cream cake (from Purity) would’ve melted had we not eaten it so quickly (5/5)!!, but Cornellians met each other, learned about each other, exchanged contact information, plan to see each other again in October (at TCAM), and will run into each other again and again over the decades! These Cornellian friendships, like the bench, are made of solid stone, will last for centuries!!
