Mobile uploads 🐻📚 Patience and Fortitude are the two lions protecting the NYC Public Library! to get Cornell #1 by 2050, it’s important we have Patience and Fortitude, Patience over time, and Fortitude over hardship Patience is important for community building, a true community is built slowly, is built organically, i.e. the mixers has slowly built into a community every 2 weeks for over 4.5 years, as more and more of the attendees become friends with each other, and the community grows stronger month after month, as Cornellians go through global events together (pandemic, elections, wars, recessions) and personal events together (weddings, vacations, layoffs, reunions) Fortitude is important for community building too, there’s so many problems to overcome: technical problems like new zoom updates, how to join a breakout room, microphone echoes, and we had the fortitude to overcome them all!! but even more important is the fortitude of believing in something, even when it seems unlikely, and go through the step by step, for Cornell #1 by 2050!! a stronger Cornell network is really important for Cornell #1 by 2050!! come to the Food Court Event on Wed 9/25, 6pm-10pm, at The Hugh’s food court (601 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10022)! meet Cornellians, introduce Cornellians to more Cornellians, and the network gets stronger and stronger!!
