Mobile uploads 🐻🎉 75 Cornellians came to the 2 Boston Food Court events!! I’ve noticed that each city has a different distribution of Cornellians, i.e. Boston has more PhDs at the Food Court, DC has more lawyers at the Food Court, NYC has more Cornellians overall! it’s so interesting to learn about Cornellians’ PhD research areas!! how deep-sea marine life can be used as medicine, how new battery materials can extend battery life, how proteins can pull another protein in a certain way, how AI could be used to automate business processes, how new technologies affect democracy, how to map internet latency around the country! And post-PhD, Cornellians do such a variety of things, like become a professor, or start a startup, or conduct research at a pharma company, or build AI software for clinical research! I usually do day trips to Boston, so I squeeze 2 events into 1 day, with a nice 2 hour break in between (to tour a Cornellian’s lab, or visit a Cornellian’s art gallery!) I have a great time in Boston!!!
