Mobile uploads 🐻🍔 Ithaca Food: Cornell Dairy Bar has a lunch menu!! I ate the All-Beef Hot Dog (5/5) with free Sauerkraut (5/5) and the Minestrone Soup (5/5)! It was the hot dog and soup combo, they went really well with each other!! the soup had a lot of vegetables in it, and it was very filling, with some pieces of pasta and oyster crackers in it too! I ate the hot dog and sauerkraut without ketchup (I learned to not put ketchup on my hot dogs from a previous post!!), the sauerkraut sourness complemented well the hot dog meatiness, the bun held it all together! I then went back to the Dairy Bar to get 3 scoops of ice cream, I got the following flavors: - Brewing CommuniTea (5/5), was all over the news this year, for bringing students together to discuss, it tastes like earl gray tea, which makes sense because afternoon tea brings people together and also the last syllable of Community sounds just like Tea!! - Alumni Swirl (5/5), had a wonderful mixture of flavors and textures, from vanilla base to tart cherry to fudge pieces, I thought it represents well the wonderful diversity of Cornell alumni: every one so diverse and every one so wonderful!! - Beebe Black Raspberry (5/5) has such a wonderful purple color, it looks like a raspberry! I wasn’t sure why it was named after Beebe Lake, but as I was eating it, I thought about my walk around Beebe Lake during Reunion, and it made the ice cream taste even better!!! I ate the ice cream at the Botanic Gardens, overlooking the Botanic Gardens Welcome Center, at the Kienzle Overlook, it has a nicely shaded bench, with Asarum Europaeum behind me and Picea Abies in front of me, it was very wonderful!!
