There’s 3 coal mines on the Black Hills, they worry about the mines polluting the waters. They have been successful so far, protesting against uranium mining, they have been able to stop those mines
The American Indian and Indigenous Studies has been a minor in CALS, since the 1970s, offers 8 classes, 80 students graduate with the minor each year, based in Caldwell Hall in the Ag Quad. The professors and research fellows also support the Native American dorm Akwe:kon, in North Campus that houses 40 students.
