Mobile uploads 🐻🎨 Khalil Bey Celebration of Life is on Fri, Oct 27, 5pm-8pm. Khalil was a Cornell Civic Fellow, a Cornell program that supported local Ithaca community leaders. After his reentry from prison, Khalil helped start the Reentry Theater program, that bridged the gap from prison to reentry through the arts. Khalil also made murals across Ithaca, including the mural featuring African American women (The Sistaha) at the Cornell Africana Library His story is featured in the Cornell Public Service Center’s Streetology book. The celebration of life will be at the First Unitarian Society of Ithaca, everyone is welcomed to attend.
