Bob Harrington is the new Dean for Cornell’s medical school, he comes to us from Stanford’s medical school, where he was Department of Medicine Dean! I am excited about his plans for data science in medicine! He mentioned partnering with Cornell Tech multiple times, he started at Duke Cardiology where he worked on the Duke Cardiology Databank (data science in cardiology), and he comes to us from Stanford which is leader in AI! AI in medicine will open so many new opportunities, and it plays to the strengths of Cornell!! top AI researchers at Cornell Tech, and top medical researchers at Weill Cornell!!!
