Mobile uploads 🐻🎨 Cornellian’s art on display in the West Village!! Randee Mia ’74 sketches jazz musicians as they perform at NYC jazz clubs (Birdland, Mezzrow, 55 Bar)! She brings her pen and paper, sits at the bar, and usually makes 3 sketches through the course of a show I like how she captures the jazz improv feel, with quick light ink strokes, that build on top of each other, loosely yet orderly at the same time! Some of the jazz clubs pictured, closed unfortunately during the pandemic, The clubs may have closed, the music gone quiet, but you can still feel the jazz, when you look at her sketches go see her art at "Tavern on the Jane", in the West Village in the next few days (runs through 9/13), reach out to her when you visit, she’s most likely there!!
