Mobile uploads 🐻🎉 it’s NYC Climate Week!! I’m attending so many Cornell events!! - at the Cornell Johnson Business event, I learned how business leaders align with sustainability goals - at the Weill Cornell medicine event, I learned how climate change can hurt our health (i.e. breathing smoke from wildfires), and the importance of data to connect the environmental and health impacts - at the Cornell Hotel School event, I learned how tourists are more aware of environmental impact (i.e. to not use certain sunscreen near reefs) to minimize their impact on the fragile tourism destinations (Cornell also publishes a ranking list of the sustainability practices of 15,000 hotels!!) - at the Cornell Atkinson Sustainability event, I learned how professors are bringing their research into real world practice! (Lab of Ornithology working with farmers, Weill Cornell working with landlords!!) Climate impacts our lives in so many ways, and Cornell professors research the impacts, and have so much findings to share!! -- P.S. if you’re a Cornell professor researching AI and Sustainability, Cornell Atkinson Center hopes to fund your research, the RFP is due next week!! reach out to Patrick Beary
