Rockefeller University is an amazing research institution!! with so many scientific breakthroughs: how DNA passes down hereditary traits, how genes regulate the circadian rhythm, how viruses can cause cancer! where science is held in the highest regard, where research breakthroughs are expected, where the best scientists come together to collaborate and inspire each other!! there’s so much resources here!! plenty of lab space, subsidized housing and food, beautiful campus with tennis courts and so much parking, with really tall trees (the only place in Manhattan with trees taller than the buildings!!!) I visited the Founders library, and I read a medical textbook!! I felt like I was onto a scientific breakthrough! the environment brings out the best of everyone!! Rockefeller University is a great neighbor for Weill Cornell, and it’s so wonderful to see the Tri-I partnership (Weill Cornell, MSK, Rockefeller), sharing the vast resources and expertise to achieve the best medical research in the world!!!!
