Mobile uploads 🐻🥼 Weill Cornell has the best community outreach!!! I visited the 3rd Ave Fair, and Weill Cornell had a full block of booths, the most amazing resources on nutrition and childhood asthma and dementia care and medicare enrollment and diabetes prevention!! (I got a big red bag of goodies!!!) each booth had so many fun activities!! I spun the wheel to win a bag, I learned about a healthy plate (a lot more vegetables than I thought!!!), I learned about the Population Health masters programs (there’s 3 of them, improve patient care, without going to med school!!) if you visit 5 booths, you win a book written by a Cornell author!!! the booths were so good, I visited 7 of them!!! I got the book The Autumn Ghost by Weill Cornell Professor Hannah Wunsch!! it is about the bravery of doctors and healthcare workers in battling the polio epidemic!!! (5/5) -- I also visited the booth for Alex Bores ’13, NY State Assemblymember!! it’s his district, and his constituent services team is amazing!! the best leader attracts the best team!! I learned how Alex’s No Cap Bill needs to be passed for a constitutional amendment, and Alex’s AI bill passed both the assembly and senate and is waiting for the Governor to sign!! amazing work by Alex, in his district, and beyond!!!!!
