Maryland is the best state!! - wonderful nature (nature reserves, Chesapeake Bay, Potomac River) - amazing food (Chesapeake Blue crabs, Old Bay seasoning, Lake Trout, Chicken Boxes) - great industry (biotech startups, manufacturing ie Under Armour, shipping ports and logistics) - public service (government agencies like NIH and NASA, Francis Scott Key, Harriet Tubman, Edgar Allen Poe) Cornell Club of Maryland organizes a wonderful Crab Feast every year, Cornellians come from around the world, to eat crabs by the beach!! (with so many games for the kids too!! the most family-friendly event!!) crab eating tip!! when you hammer the crab claws, put a paper towel over the claw, and hammer through the paper towel, so that the claw pieces don’t fly everywhere!!
