Mobile uploads 🐻🏳️‍🌈 Cornell Pride Awards!! each year, Cornellians celebrate the amazing accomplishments of the Cornell LGBTQ+ students and alumni!! N Kitil ’25 won the Student Leader Award, for all the wonderful student activities they organize, as part of the Haven student LGBTQ+ group!! (they plan to study library sciences, if anyone has any career advice!) Jason McGill ’88 won the Steven Siegel ’68 Award, Jason is an alum leader, organizing the first Reunion Pride event in 1992! in his work, he advises family offices on supporting social causes!! his speech was very inspirational, how companies can put values on their website, but the values don’t live themselves, it takes people to live those values!! 20% of the current student population identify as LGBTQ+, with an amazing set of programs, from Pride Prom to Lavender Ball to a wide variety of students groups like Haven and Drag Bingo!! Cornell Pride Awards are very important, celebrating the wonderful Pride history at Cornell, as well as building a wonderful Pride future for future generations of Cornellians!! signup link for the Cornell Pride newsletter below!!
