🐻🚀 Day 2 of NY Tech Week was amazing!! I was so impressed by the NewLab event, everything feels so possible, the physics proven, the business models inevitable!! I felt like I saw the future:
- hydrogen transport storage!!
- space zero-gravity drones!!
- quantum chip packaging!!
- drone delivery for organ transplants!!
and everywhere I went, I ran into Cornellians!! I wore my big red T-shirt, with the clocktower on it, and so many Cornellians said hello!! Cornellians are thought leaders!!
- I watched Victoria Kammerath, LLM ’24, at the Argentina startup panel, where Argentina has top entrepreneurial talent, because they’ve been through so much uncertainty, they learn to adapt to survive!
- I watched Devin Abraham, MBA ’25, pitch his housing authority documentation startup at the Robin Hood Foundation demo day, startups doing the greatest good for New York City and beyond!!
- I met so many Cornellians at the NewLab event, current students, recent alumni, and Cornell has such a strong reputation!! the quantum chip founder knew about the Cornell Nanoscale Facility, the space drones went through Entrepreneur First with Cornellians, one of the engineers is considering a PhD at Cornell!!
Cornell is leading innovation in NYC and beyond!!
