Mobile uploads 🐻🚀 Cornell Department of Design Tech turns 1 year old!! there’s so many creative ways to use tech, ie: - artistic: a "boombox" that watches your dance moves, and matches music to the dance! - practical: a robot trash can that rolls up to people at the park, when they finish eating and needs to throw away the trash - industrial: a construction robot that puts up wooden beams, in a safe way with humans walking around Design Tech plays to Cornell’s strength, of radical collaboration between Cornell Engineering, Human Ecology, Architecture, and Information Science!! for the new Masters in Design Tech, students spend a year in Ithaca learning theory, and a year in NYC at Cornell Tech for practical studio!! Cornell Tech also has an Artist in Residence, to inspire Cornell Tech students on all the new artistic possibilities in that new tech opens up! Cornell attracts the best designers, from the top architects (AIA gold winners!!) to the top artists (work in the MoMA)!!
