Lead Bigger!! it’s especially inspirational, that she lead the way as the first female asian in her executive positions!! her main message is to "widen your perspective, to have greater performance and impact"! - for example, if you’re in the marketing department, you should widen your perspective by meeting the sales team as well, to broaden your perspective - another example, if you’re leading the customer service team, you should see your purpose not just to answer customer questions, but to broaden your perspective, to restoring trust of the customer in the service - another example, if you encounter unconscious bias in interactions with coworkers, you should broaden your perspective, to see from their perspective, that they didn’t mean ill intent, to use it as an opportunity to educate, and to see it not as "us vs them", but as "we the company" it’s super inspirational, to hear such important leadership lessons, so eloquently shared!! it’s also super inspirational, to see a Cornellian write a book and share her knowledge! Cornellians are the most amazing people, and there’s so much knowledge to share!!!
