I learned so much about women rights, at the Federal level and NY State level!! it’s super important to know your rights (employers don’t always tell you!!) in NY State, the rules are even better than the Federal level!! women get 20 paid hours per year for prenatal care and 30 minutes per day postnatal for pumping each day, in a private room in the office!! in addition to rights, I also learned about salary negotiation techniques, balancing what you uniquely offer, vs the noncompetes, salary ranges disclosed for each job, total compensation, and other restricted covenants! women make $0.83 of what men make, and these negotiation techniques help close the gap!! join the CWAN!! best events, learn so much important info, and make wonderful friends (everyone’s super friendly!!)
