Mobile uploads 🐻🎉 Cornellian for Miami Mayor!! the campaign kickoff was amazing, everyone came to support Eileen Higgins, MBA ’89!! I met police officers, real estate developers, young Dems, nonprofit directors, tech entrepreneurs, transportation magnates, everyone!! Eileen has a strong track record, 7 years as a county commissioner, actually getting things built and doing good work for the constituents! she helped a small healthcare nonprofit get state and federal funding! she helped a real estate developer push through the permit process! she helped a small business get initial funding! she helped the Cuban Americans build a museum! she helped the police officer build community relations! two of the attendees disagreed on national issues, but they both agreed that Eileen Higgins was the best for local issues!! this election is also getting national attention, because it is the biggest city, that has a chance of flipping red to blue, so a lot of party resources is flowing into Miami, to build momentum for the midterms!! Eileen has also done it before, she was the underdog when she first ran in 2017, flipped the seat! she’s also had experience raising millions and running campaigns!! Eileen did a great job positioning herself, on her policies and with her constituents, on the local level and the national level, and with the incumbent mayor term limited out, and with great momentum from her work as county commissioner, she leads the field of candidates for Miami Mayor!!
