Mobile uploads 🐻🗽 I visited the Statue of Liberty!! I immigrated to the US when I was 4 years old, I’m so grateful for my parents to bring me here, to the best country in the world!!! so many wonderful immigrants come to America, and make wonderful contributions!! it’s important that America welcomes them and has a clear respectful pathway for those who wish to stay and contribute! I really liked the Ellis Island museum, I saw the Registry Room, where millions of immigrants funneled through after their arrival. I thought the museum did a great job humanizing their individual stories, highlighting their pictures and the treasures they bought from home (stuffed animal toys, hand-knitted blankets) I then visited Heidi Meyers ’84, an immigration lawyer, her office is right by the ferry!! she represents immigrants from all around the world, doing the greatest good!!!
