Mobile uploads 🐻🍀 Happy St Patrick’s Day!! I went to an 8am St Patrick’s Day party, Governor Kathy Hochul gave a wonderful speech about Ireland (her parents came from Ireland!!), Attorney General Letitia James made a hilarious joke about drinking Jameson whiskey, and Alex Bores ’13 gave an inspirational speech about the Irish fishermen who casted their nets into the waters, one more time, even when they haven’t caught anything all day!! Alex’s speech was such a powerful speech, connecting the religious significance of St Patrick’s Day, building hope in this political environment, delivered memorably in the one minute he was allocated!! amazing work by NY State Assemblymember Alex Bores ’13!!!! I walked around the party, and I found 2 Cornellians!! civic engagement is super important!! (they gave me their drink tickets, I got to drink 3 Guinness this morning!! I feel so lucky to be a Cornellian!!!)
