Mobile uploads 🐻🚀 Alex Bores ’13 is NY State Assemblymember, I attended his Office Hours!! where any constituent can come and chat with him!! Alex is such a great listener, and he is a great problem solver too!! he empathizes with his constituents, drafts very reasonable bills, gets them passed, and solves the problems!! one big concern in his district is the ebikes that the food delivery apps employ, that rides on sidewalks and causes so many accidents! Alex is spearheading 3 bills to reduce this unsafe practice: (1) require registration of ebikes, (2) make apps liable for the tickets of their drivers, and (3) require apps to consider safety when assigning work to the drivers! all 3 are very reasonable bills, easily implementable by the food delivery apps, and they solve the problem! Alex has a master’s degree in engineering, so he understands what technology is capable of (ie gps not good enough to gauge sidewalk vs street, but good enough at detecting speeding and driving the wrong way!!) the constituents all loved him!! one loved the birthday card he sent her! another loved the meeting with him and his mother 3 years ago! another thought he should be on national television more!! and a 2.5 year old toddler said she loves him too!!
