Mobile uploads 🐻🔔 I saw the Liberty Bell with 3 Cornellian veterans last night! the Liberty Bell is a beautiful symbol for freedom, it took so much courage to ring that Bell in 1776, to rise against the British Empire, to fight for our freedom. And it took so much sacrifices since then, across the wars and generations, to defend that sacred freedom. I am most grateful for the service by our veterans, and for Cornell’s support for our veterans: - Cornell has a Veteran House on West Campus, for veterans to live in, a wonderful community - Cornell has veteran student communities, for veterans to connect: CUVA for undergrad veterans, CLVA for law school veterans, GSVA for graduate student veterans - for alumni, Cornell Military Network organizes events and helps with careers - for professors and staff, Cornell Veterans Colleague Network organizes events on campus - as well as a vibrant ROTC ecosystem, with all branches of the military represented
