Mobile uploads 🐻👰 CEO of The Knot (top wedding website) came to speak at Cornell Tech at Bloomberg!! I learned a bunch about marketing and technology, how the wedding venue is the anchor, and from there, customers choose the florist, caterer, dj, and more!! technology is a huge help, in a very complex (14 vendor) process, with much emotions from the couple and in-laws and friends!! the overall conglomerate is founded by a team of Cornellians!! Timothy Chi ’98 and Lee Wang ’97 founded Wedding Wire, and over many acquisitions, now own the entirety of The Knot and it’s house of brands across 16 countries!! Cornell Tech at Bloomberg is an amazing speaker series, every month featuring top technology leaders, there’s so much amazing startups in New York City, and Cornell Tech is really making NYC famous for it’s technology startups!!!
