🐻🚀 NY Tech Week is so energizing, I’m so excited about AI and Robotics!! - I visited Newlab, where the top robotics startups demoed their startups, I played chess with a robot (it moved the pieces itself, and I lost the game!!), I met the founder of a robotic hand that can pick up delicate objects! (it’s easy to be fast and strong, hard to be delicate!) - I met 5 Cornellians!! - I learned about Longevity at Weill Cornell, I learned about wellness (cold plunges, oral hygiene), as well as science behind it (epigenetics that cause aging, the datasets needed to understand aging) - I met 10 Cornellians - I visited the Cure. building, where the top biotechs have offices, an incredible biotech hub 3 blocks from Madison Square Park!! - I met 1 Cornellian - I visited Accelerators and Venture Capitalist offices, I feel there’s a huge abundance of opportunities and capital in the NYC Ecosystem!! - I met 2 Cornellians - I visited Startup Offices, and their events, Tabs had the most amazing merch, and I had such a great time at their coffee claude coworking event!! I met 5 Cornellians!! it’s super-helpful to step outside of my day-to-day routine, visit the offices I’d never have visited, learn about topics I’d never have learned, and it creates so much connections in my brain and Cornellians are everywhere!!
