🐻🚀 one of my 2026 goals, is to Learn Something New every day!! AI is incredibly helpful for learning!!! I made a list of topics to learn, I pick a topic each day, and I chat with AI about it!! AI is so helpful for building Intuition!! for example, I was learning about rare earth materials - I build intuition by poking at the concept in different directions, AI lets me poke in exactly the way I want to poke (i.e. I asked AI about the exact chemical processes to extract rare earths, and then how buying an existing factory transfers permits, how the permits tie to each step of the chemical process!!) - I build intuition by grounding new concepts with concepts I already understand, AI learns how I understand concepts, and grounds it in what I understand (i.e. I asked it how similar it is to semiconductor manufacturing, to ground it in my understanding of the Micron in Syracuse) - I build intuition by following the step by step first principles derivation, and AI is so patient in explaining every step of the derivation (i.e. I asked for the specific chemical processes used, to understand the steps fully, not just as abstractions!!) AI is so much more effective than textbooks, because the textbook author’s intution rarely fits my existing intuition, and it’s one-directional, so we’re not able to converse!!
