🐻🎉 Risley Holiday Zoom Party was last night!! I lived in Risley my junior and senior years, it’s a wonderful accepting community: I was a dementor for Harry Potter Night, watched Macbeth and Waiting for Godot in the Risley Theater, made a clay pot in the Craft Shops in the basement, went to MasqueRave as a bird, attended Rocky Horror Picture show, learned Musical Theater songs on Thursdays, organized the Risley flag football and volleyball and frisbee teams Judith Mecklenberger ’71, founder of Risley program house, shared how she took over the Risley building and transformed it into a community! Current Risleyites gave us a virtual tour of the building, and it was amazing to hear how the traditions continued over the decades!!!
