🐻 True and Firm is the motto of Risley Hall, I didn’t really think about it the 2 years I lived in Risley, but now, as I see the incredible power of the Cornell community, I’ve realized the importance of True and Firm, to use power to do the greatest good, to avoid false temptations along the way. Cornell opened up to us, a world of immense wealth and incredible power, and more importantly, Cornell also provided us with a strong moral compass. I am grateful to have lived in Risley, where these values are etched deep into the walls, and as I grow older, these values come from a place deep within.
