Mobile uploads 🐻🦃 Thanksgiving with my parents in DC!! My parents and I immigrated to America, when I was 4 years old!! I am most thankful for my wonderful parents, and for all the wonderful friends and community we found in America We went on a hike by the lake, we made a big turkey (14 pounder!!), and we made a cookie house! then we watched my favorite episode of West Wing, Season 2 Episode 8, Shibboleth, it’s about immigrants seeking a new home in America, from the Mayflower pilgrims coming to America in 1620 to the many immigrants coming to America today "Well over three and half centuries ago, strengthened by faith and bound by a common desire for liberty, a small band of pilgrims sought out a place in the New World where they could worship according to their own beliefs"
