π»π Cornell Center for Jewish Living, House Dinner!! 40 students live in the CJL every year, a wonderful community, I visited all the time when I was a student (I learned about kosher food, celebrated holidays, sang songs (hava nagila!!), made many close friends!!)
I visited the CJL house dinner last night, had a wonderful meal of mushroom soup (5/5), salmon and whitefish (5/5), roasted mushrooms (5/5), roasted asparagus (5/5), and made some wonderful friends!! (one studied applied physics, and I learned about the new advances in plasma and fusion, another was the TA for algorithms, and I showed him the problem sets we had 10 years ago!)
I really like the community of CJL, it is completely student run, they take care of each other, and it is very unique to Cornell, the first house dedicated to kosher eating and practices!!
