Mobile uploads 🐻🎙️ Cornell Debate Camp is for middle school and high school students, students live in the dorms, learn from Cornell professors, and debate each other!! Coaches judge each round, and provide feedback on how to debate better! This year, 130 students will come from all around the world!! taiwan, singapore, england, korea, brazil, middle east, and the usa (25 states!!)! They will stay in the new North Campus fancy dorms, dine at the new Toni Morrison fancy dining hall!! I did debate team at Cornell, and it improved my public speaking skills, stopped being shy after!! I also made a lot more sense in my talking and persuasiveness! Examples of topics include: - this House believes AI will make work obsolete - this House believes cryptocurrencies do more harm than good Students follow the World School debate format, 3 students on the government side, 3 students on the opposition side, and the judges rank them from first to sixth!
